Every day, nearly every aspect of life in Canada is made possible because of the dedication of professional truck drivers and the trucking industry. From the groceries in our stores to the medical supplies in our hospitals, if you’ve got it, a truck brought it.
That’s why National Trucking Week (NTW), running this year from September 8-15, 2025, is such an important time to pause and recognize the hard-working men and women who keep our country moving.
A Tradition of Appreciation
National Trucking Week was first launched in the late 1990s by the Canadian Trucking Alliance as a way to celebrate and spotlight the industry. Since then, it has grown into a nationwide initiative highlighting the contributions of hundreds of thousands of Canadian trucking professionals – not only drivers, but also the dispatchers, technicians, and support staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Throughout the week, events and celebrations take place across the country to:
- Show appreciation for truck drivers and industry workers
- Recognize the critical role trucking plays in Canada’s economy
- Highlight the industry’s ongoing dedication to safety, innovation, and environmental sustainability
Thank You to Canada’s Trucking Community
At TEN, we are proud to support the trucking industry and the people who power it. We know firsthand the hard work, long hours, and dedication it takes to keep freight moving safely and reliably across Canada.
This National Trucking Week, we extend our gratitude to the truck drivers, technicians, dispatchers, and every professional in the trucking industry who keeps Canada moving forward – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
