The transportation safety show at TIP Group-Canada’s head office has concluded successfully. The event provided attendees with essential tools for road safety, including blind spot and circle check training. Participants also had the chance to explore a Truck & Trailer!

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA), one of Canada’s busiest regions, sees thousands of trucks transporting goods daily. TIP, along with its partners, focused on promoting and teaching road safety for truck drivers, daily commuters, and pedestrians.

From 9:30am to 2:30pm at 1880 Britannia Road East, Mississauga on June 23, 2023, attendees experienced firsthand what it’s like inside a transport truck, gaining insights into a truck driver’s blind spots and the size of large trailers.

Representatives from Peel Regional Police, Ontario Ministry of Transportation, The Erb Group, Tire Terminal, Truck News, and Trucking HR Canada taught attendees about their roles, their companies’ operations, and the impact of road safety and transportation on their businesses.

Attendees brought their families, friends, and coworkers to learn about creating safer roads through proper maintenance, safe driving habits, and recognizing potential dangers.
